Terms of Sale and Use

These terms apply to purchases of digital products from Bygg Enkelt AS through byggenkelt.no.

Bygg Enkelt AS is registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises.

2. Products

Bygg Enkelt AS sells digital products, mainly building plans, build guides, materials lists, and other digital content for DIY projects.

The products are delivered digitally. No physical product is shipped unless this is expressly stated in the product description.

The content, format, and scope of each product are described in the product description applicable at the time of purchase.

3. Prices and Payment

The current price is displayed on the product page and at checkout before the purchase is completed.

Any taxes, duties, or other charges applicable to the purchase will be shown at checkout before payment.

Payment is made using the payment methods available in the online store at the time of purchase.

4. Formation of the Agreement

The purchase is completed when the customer has placed the order and the payment has been approved.

The customer will receive an electronic confirmation of the purchase at the email address provided when placing the order.

The customer is responsible for providing correct contact and email information.

5. Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically after payment has been completed, normally by email, download link, or other form of digital access.

No shipping costs apply to products delivered exclusively in digital form.

If the customer does not receive the product or experiences problems with downloading or accessing it, Bygg Enkelt AS can be contacted at salg@byggenkelt.no.

6. Licence and Copyright

Upon purchase, the customer is granted a personal right to use the digital product.

Copyright and all other intellectual property rights relating to drawings, build guides, illustrations, images, and other content belong to Bygg Enkelt AS or the relevant rights holder.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed, it is not permitted to:

• resell or distribute digital products
• share the product files publicly or with third parties
• copy or publish the entire content or substantial parts of it
• make the product available for download by others
• use the content as a basis for reselling your own drawings or build guides

The customer may print copies necessary for their own personal use of the product.

7. Use of Build Guides and Plans

The customer is responsible for checking that the project is suitable for its intended use and for the location where it will be built.

Local laws, building regulations, planning permission requirements, zoning regulations, and other public authority requirements may vary. The customer is responsible for checking which rules apply to the relevant project.

Dimensions, materials, and site conditions should be checked before work begins.

Bygg Enkelt AS recommends following the manufacturers’ instructions for materials, fasteners, tools, and safety equipment.

This does not limit the customer’s statutory rights if the digital product contains an error or defect.

8. Errors and Defects

If the digital product cannot be downloaded, the file is damaged, or the product otherwise contains an error or defect, we ask the customer to contact Bygg Enkelt AS at salg@byggenkelt.no.

We will first attempt to correct the issue or make the product available again.

The customer’s rights in the event of errors or defects are otherwise governed by applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation.

9. Right to Cancel

Consumers have a right to cancel to the extent provided by the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.

For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, the right to cancel may be lost once delivery begins if the legal requirements are met. This includes, among other things, that the customer must expressly consent in advance to delivery beginning before the cancellation period has expired and acknowledge that the right to cancel will therefore be lost.

If the conditions for loss of the right to cancel have not been met, the ordinary rules regarding the right to cancel apply.

10. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Information about the personal data we collect, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared can be found in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

Bygg Enkelt AS may update these terms when necessary.

For each individual purchase, the terms that were available at the time the order was placed will apply.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

The agreement is governed by Norwegian law.

This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights the customer may have under the laws of the country in which they reside.

If a dispute arises, the customer is encouraged to contact Bygg Enkelt AS first so that we can attempt to find a solution.
