EON Element
EON Element for garages is a Norwegian patented environmentally friendly building system.
The system consists of "building blocks" of scaffolding, windbreaks with attached vertical battens. The elements are fastened together with bolts in pre-drilled holes, forming a windproof entire wall.
Item size
The size of these elements is 30 or 60 cm wide and the height is 30-60-90-120-150-180-210 or 240 cm.
Travel works
The elements have built-in scaffolding in size 36x98mm. When you bolt two and two elements together, the scaffolding becomes 72x98mm. This means that you can build 2-storey garages / sheds with the elements.
Bottom and top wool
The bottom sleeper makes it easy to install elements. The top sleeper is installed on top of the EON elements and connects them together. The roof trusses are installed on top of the top sleeper.
Insulation
If you want an insulated garage or storage room, the elements are ready to be insulated with 10 cm of insulation.
Windbreak
The elements come with a pre-attached wind barrier.
Barge
The element has a 36x48mm vertical batten attached. If you have horizontal cladding, it can be attached directly to the elements. If you are going to have vertical cladding, you must attach it to horizontal battens.
Speed
It is very fast to build with EON elements. The construction time is about 10 minutes per meter of wall.
Important things to remember:
- When building with EON elements, it is important that the bottom sleeper is straight. If the bottom sleeper is crooked, the elements will not fit.
- The bottom sleeper must be bolted to the substrate.
- The elements are screwed and bolted to the bottom sleeper.
- Mounting screws can be used to mount EON elements before a bolt.
